Zelink:When You Fall in Love 1

Chapter 1:

The day was a hot one! Summer season has arrived. The flowers have bloomed and water has taken it's time to fall. Princess Zelda, the Princess of the Kingdom of Hyrule, stared from her balcony, the far away ocean near the Village, Aboda. Her soft blonde hair swayed through the winds air. When all of a sudden, somebody knocks on her door, "Who is it?" asked Princess Zelda. "It's Donna, you're highness." responded Donna as she opened the door, "Can I come in?" Zelda smiled and said, "Yes come in Donna."

Donna, her main maid of the castle maids came in with her breakfast. "Ahh, you've grown so much you're highness. Heh, heh…" Donna started to giggle after what she said, leaving Zelda clueless. "What's so funny?" asked Zelda with the clueless face. "Oh, it's just that I've worked here since you were born. Seeing you grow just makes me laugh." explained Donna. Zelda still had that clueless face, it made her wonder, 'I don't see how watching a girl grow up is so funny?' Donna then calmed down of her laughter. "Well, it's almost you're 16th birthday! You're almost an adult!" cheered Donna. Zelda smiled and said, "Hmph, that's good. But just because I grow one year older into what older people say doesn't make me an adult." said Zelda. "Oh I feel so bad for…" said Donna now giving pity to Zelda. "Why? Are you leaving me cause I'm becoming into an 'Adult'?" asked Zelda with that joking tone. "No, it's just that… I've seen you as my daughter, and I ask myself. 'Are you planning to give me a grandchild?' You haven't had any relationships with a man" explained Donna. Zelda blushed, turned around back to the balcony and lowered her head. She thought of Link, and all the time she got to spend with him before he left her for years. "Oh, don't tell me. You're thinking about that boy?" asked Donna, "Remember what he did to you!? He left you for years! Even without telling you why!" complained Donna. "You don't know him. Maybe he had an emergency and had to leave Hyrule." defended Zelda. "Maybe he died." said Donna in a sarcastic way. "Donna!" Zelda was angry now after the comment Donna made. Donna walked towards Zelda and grabbed her shoulder. "Zelda, please be careful. You're right, we don't know him." said Donna. "You mean, you don't know him because I do." answered back Zelda. "No, you haven't seen him for years. Now you don't know him either." explained Donna then walked away, "Hon, if he ever crosses you're site, watch out." said Donna and walked out of Zelda's room. Zelda was left in question; after all, adults always had that wisdom of telling.

Meanwhile in Aboda, Clara, a neighborhood girl the age of 13, walked around. She looked towards the ocean and back to Link's house and thought, "He never came back… It's been years…" Then, in the sudden background, a train whistled. Clara panicked and turned around quickly, seeing a wooden train. She squinted her eyes to see who the conductor was but the heat waves of that hot summer waved around like ocean currents. She started to walk towards the unknown who just arrived.

        As she got closer, the man that exited the train turned to see her. Clara got close enough to see who it was and with shock, it was--"Mark?! You left to become a train conductor?" asked Clara. "Yup, if Link isn't here, maybe I can replace him!" explained Mark. "For a second I thought it was Link." said Clara clearing her confusion to Mark. "HA! That fool ain't coming back! After Niko's death, he probably went suicide." responded Mark. "Mark, you're so rude!" commented angrily Clara. "You're a dumbass." said Mark and walked away to the passenger train. "AW, hells no Mark! I'm telling mom!" shouted Clara. "Immature little girl. You think mom is going to believe a little 13 year old girl than a 15 year old man!" asked Mark sarcastically. Clara nodded and turned quickly. "Oh, fine then. Link was going to come say hi right now." said Mark. Clara turned back even more quickly. "What are you saying?" asked Clara in shock. Mark grabbed the passenger door. "You liar!  I don't believe you!" said Clara and turned. "If you say so." said Mark, pulled the passenger door and said, "We're here dude!" shouted Mark. A young man with blonde hair and engineer clothes came out. Clara stood there in shock saying, "L-L-L-L-L-Link???" "Hey Clara." responded Link. "Ha, I am a liar. Link didn't suicide." said Mark. Clara ran to Link and hugged him. Soon enough, with all the commotion everybody noticed and came to welcome Link back and even decided to have special dinner just for him!
The dinner had everything Link loved to eat. The whole village all had an opportunity to talk with Link until something Alfonzo brought up. "So any cute girls, Link?" asked Alfonzo. "Heh, no luck yet!" said Link and looked at his food making his smile turn into a frown. Clara's mom grabbed a news paper and started to read it. "Oooh, Link! Here's the page I wanted you to read!" said Clara's mom and passed the news paper to Link. Link looked at it and read, 'Princess Zelda 16th Birthday Celebration'. Link looked up. "Tomorrow is Zelda's birthday?" asked Link. Clara's mom nodded. "Don't lie to us Link. We know you've liked Zelda. It's been sometime. Why don't you go give her a visit?" suggested Clara's mom. "What if she hates me…?" asked Link. "Why the hell would she hate you!? I think it'd make her happy!" said Mark. Link started to think about it. "You never know Link." suggested Clara. Link started to grin. "Maybe, you're right Mark. I think she'd be happy. Well, I gotta get some rest because it's tomorrow!" said Link. Everybody cheered at the table with what Link was going to do; the reunion with his love, Princess Zelda.
